Captain Blackbeard's Head

When asked about the most iconic part of the Lego pirate theme, I will always come back to one of the most nostalgic figures for me, with a hook for a hand and a peg for a leg.

Arguably one of the most famous named mini figures of all time... Redbeard represents the Lego pirate theme as a whole. Many Lego fans know the story of his beginnings from his first set The Forbidden Island in 1989 to the recently retired Pirates of Barracuda Bay set released in 2020.

This pirate figure always represented the stern ruthless leader of all of the Lego Pirates, and for me is easily the most beloved part of this theme.
