What is Vocaloid, you might ask? Meet Hatsune Miku!
Released in 2007, Vocaloid is a software that allows people to create music and have a virtual character perform the songs they create. These characters that sing are known as Vocaloids, and the most popular and well known is Hatsune Miku!
It's the ultimate form of musical art where tens of THOUSANDS of creators have all contributed to the MILLIONS of Hatsune Miku songs that exist today! She even holds sold out concerts around the world where she performs as a virtual hologram. Miku is revolutionary in the sense that she reaches millions of people monthly with her music and charm, yet she only exists in the virtual world!
Being the most popular Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku empowers anyone to share their creative passion for music through her.
With this buildable and customizable Hatsune Miku LEGO model, fans can create so much of what they love about Vocaloids and Hatsune Miku. She even has arms and leg articulation! You can swap out her hands so she can hold leeks from her hit song Ievan Polkka.

For me (Grant), Hatsune Miku’s lyrics are meaningful and impact me daily. Her music makes me feel a sense of peace and inner happiness. Her concert was one of the best experiences of my life. I have also found that her songs are beautiful to play on the piano. I hope that this set showcases the passion that Jacob and I and her millions of fans and songwriters around the world have for her, her music, and her endless ability to express creativity.
