Muppet Theatre: The Complete Playset

My New and improved Muppet Theatre.

You may have seen and supported my last Muppet Theatre which got through to review last year, but didn't make the final cut.

Since then, I have redesigned the whole front the Muppet Theatre and it is now based on the Exterior of the Muppet Theatre as seen in The Muppets go to the Movies. I have also added the year 1976 to the top of the build which represents the Year The Muppet Show first aired on TV (almost 50 years ago!).

The build still has its Modular look on the outside and unfolds to reveal the iconic Muppet Theatre stage we all know from the TV show. The building actually looks great as part of my Lego City with the other Modular buildings. This build contains just under 4,000 pcs and has a 32 x 32 stud footprint.

This Muppet Theatre is now a complete play set as I have added 2 x drawers to store minifigures and accessories. These conveniently fill the gaps at the side of the stage when folded up. I have also designed a new method for all the scene changes. This set incorporates 6 different backgrounds which can be used on stage. These are double sided walls, 1 on stage and then storage underneath for the other 2 double sided walls to slide into. These additions have made this 1 large building that contains everything you need to create a fantastic Muppet Show of your own.

I have used the original Muppet Collectable minifigures for this set, but made a few changes to their outfits, Kermit is wearing a Tuxedo for the opening night, Rowlf, Janice and Piggy have scrubs on for the Veterinarian's Hospital Sketch.

18 - Rowlf (in scrubs for Veterinarian's Hospital)

Also 2 x additional Scrubs for Janice and Piggy so they can join Rowlf on stage for Veterinarian's Hospital.

I hope you all like my New & improved Muppet Theatre and agree that this model would make a great Lego set for all Muppet Fans to enjoy. I know I love playing with it and setting up lots of scenes for sharing on social media.
