Stargate

Thanks to Screenrant who featured my project on their site, I reached 1,000 supporters much faster than anticipated, passing that milestone around 4:08pm yesterday, UK time.

I would like to thank all of you for achieving this goal so quickly in just over a week. Please keep spreading the message so other fans of the show can learn of this design and follow in your footsteps!

As a thank you, I’d like to share with you something I’m toying with. I’m not sure if I’d want to add it to the project as it would lead to more bricks and a higher cost, and I might actually leave that to you to consider.

If you know me, you’ll already be aware that I love to photograph LEGO builds outdoors, and a display set doesn’t lend itself well to such a hobby, so I designed a base to connect the Stargate to, in order to recreate the destination gate on another world.

In addition to that, no gate would be complete without its DHD (Dial Home Device), so here is my interpretation of one.
