Three Bean Salad

In 2021 three ambitious, go-getting, high-achieving comedians banded together to create a cornerstone of culture. Their project redefined comedy as an art form and took the world by storm...

Elsewhere, Benjamin Partridge, Mike Wozniak and Henry Paker decided they'd give podcasting a go, and Three Bean Salad, home of lukewarm banter, semi-decent cartoons, and tide time information was born. (It's the Old Switcheroo!)

This lego set pays homage to the podcast and some of its core themes. The main logo, designed by Paker, can be displayed separately, or placed in its stand, which features a live show stage and plenty of podcast references.

All three hosts can be found as custom minifigures, along with their pets. Bluebell (she's a cat) stands regally next to Henry, Pam (Pam. Pam!) is at Mike's side, and behind Ben is a rat.

Offstage left, you can find transparent tubes, a jar of Kerrigan's Mustard, a barbell (for completing Beefcake Journeys), a cup of coffee, a glass of glass, a sign for 'Provincial Dad Talk,' a croissant, a crab, a panini, and a nod to the 'Digestive Tract Talk' segment.

Offstage right, a flightless bird with incredible legs stands guarding a sword, a ham, an electric guitar, a nod to the old postmasters, and all the equipment needed to convincingly perform 'The French Drop,' a magic trick mastered only by the best.

Either side are two signposts that point the way towards some of the show's most discussed locations. They read:
  • The Biggest Free-Standing Concrete Dome of its Kind
  • Diamond Harbour
  • The Soup Dragon
  • Bremen
  • National Library
  • Inaccessible Island
  • Metropolitan Utopia
  • Carvery
  • Wetland Centre
  • And of course, The Bean Lounge

The set consists of 935 pieces, and is easier to put together than a jigsaw of the sea.

Hope you like it!
