This is my Lego build of Old Trafford, home of Manchester United.
I wanted to create a model that could be a modest display piece on a coffee table, shelf or desk.
Working at this scale also offered the challenge of capturing the key elements of a huge structure with a limited number of pieces. At points the model is almost a caricature as features are accentuated and compromises are made.
The model contains around 1,200 pieces.
I thoroughly enjoyed the design and build of this model and hope I have been able to capture the essence of this famous sporting venue.
