The GMC Hummer EV is a new electric pickup truck with unprecedented off road capabilities. The automobile, both in reality and in LEGO form, is extremely large. Because of it’s size, it is 10 studs wide, rather than 8. However, it is minifigure scale. The model fits 4 minifigures and has all 4 opening doors, in addition to working suspension and large wheels (for off road performance). The model has many details that aim to most accurately portray the design of the vehicle. For example, the entire wheel and mudguard portions are offset by half a stud so that the mudguard does not stick out too much or be completely set into the car. The model uses many other creative build techniques, including sideways and inverted parts. The only custom parts used are the windscreen and logo sticker.
