Star Wars Chess Set

This is a Star Wars™ adaptation of the classic game of Chess. In Chess, the object of the game is to "capture" your opponent's king. To do this, you must strategically move your sixteen pieces to trap your opponent's king while protecting your own king. The different types of pieces are: King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and Pawn. 

This LEGO Star Wars™ Chess set is comprised of a simple Chess Board on top of a drawer to store all of the figures, making it simple to transport to different locations. The different figures are as follows: 

     WHITE:

          King  -  Luke Skywalker

          Queen  -  Princess Leia

          Bishops  -  C-3PO, R2-D2

          Knights  -  Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo

          Rooks  -  micro X-wing fighters

          Pawns  -  Rebel Scout Troopers

     BLACK:

          King  -  Grand Moff Tarkin

          Queen  -  Darth Vader

          Bishops  -  Death Star troopers

          Knights  -  TIE fighter pilots

          Rooks  -  micro TIE fighters 

          Pawns  -  Storm Troopers

In this project, all of the characters are form Episode IV: A New Hope. (Thus the absent of major supporting characters like Yoda, The Emperor, etc.)

Unfortunately, Lego Digital Designer does not have a good selection of printing, so the only printing I could get was R2-D2's body. If this was to get made into a official set, each figure would be like the mini figure found in sets. (except for the Storm Troopers and Rebel Scout Troopers would have short legs and small guns.)
