Airstream NASA Astrovan

I'm a NASA enthusiast and I really like space vehicles. I’m a fan of them. Ever since I met with, I always wanted to build such a 8 stud wide vehicle.

The Astrovan is a NASA vehicle used at the Kennedy Space Center to transport astronauts from the Operations and Checkout Building to the launch pad before a launch mission and back to Operations and Checkout Building following a shuttle landing.

This model is a modified 1983 Airstream Excella motorhome, and has been in use since the STS-9 mission in November 1983.
