Design iterations

It took me some iterations to arrive at the current design. Initially I had to make the front wall a bit lower than the other walls to allow for the folding action. This meant that the roof needed to fill the gap. After a major overhaul of all side walls and both floor sections, including the hinge geometry, I managed to heighten the front wall and create a flat roof. In addition, I repositioned the roof swivel arms away from the walls, making it possible to fill them completely. And finally, I changed the way the roof is mounted to the back wall, enabling the use of tiles rather than plates on top of the walls. It looks much cleaner now than the initial design. Thanks for your support!

Foldable not-so-tiny house!

Just for fun, and to celebrate 1000 supporters, I share with you an image of an early prototype I made. It is a supersized version of the project's foldable tiny house! It works really well and yields a massive usable floor space, but for the project entry I decided to go for the tiny version. Let me know what you think about it!
