Release the Kraken! The Kraken is an ancient, mythical, squid-like monster from ancient lore. Battle of the Kraken consists of 271 pieces. This model rests upon a 16x16 baseplate, making it desk size, so you can display anywhere. This idea started off as a waterfall castle, until I later added an ugly little boat that I hated with every fiber of my being. I then covered the ugliness off the boat with some tentacles, turning it into the Battle of the Kraken set. This set isn't just awesome, it's also incredibly simple to build. It's ghostly green tentacles and small waterfall are eye-catchers, as well as the rocky outcrop and the object underneath the mass of the Kraken. This set is simple enough to be fun to build, yet detailed enough to make a stunning centerpiece.
