The Mothership-Led Zeppelin

From the stages to the bricks Led Zeppelin arrives aboard the Mothership, this set presents the iconic airship that represents this band, as well as a staging of the 4 members with their iconic instruments. The 4 Minifigures represent each of the members of the group: Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jhones in some of their iconic outfits.

 

The airship bears the name "Mothership" on both sides in reference to the compilation album of Led Zeppelin songs, which features a cockpit where minifigures can board and a control center like that of an airship.

 

The Mothership is sailing through the clouds carrying the characteristic sounds of Led Zeppelin around the world. Additionally, the doors to access the cabin can go up and down so that the members can get on.

 

The set has a small plaque where you can read some important information about the group and a small image of the silhouette of the airship.

 

I built this set because I am a big fan of the band, I love their songs and I am also a fan of aerial vehicles, so building this set was very fun and at the same time challenging in some parts of the construction of the airship. The techniques they used in their songs, the lyrics in them and the influence they had make them one of the Best Bands that have ever existed.

 

I think this set idea could be a great Lego set, since for both fans of the band and aerial vehicles it would be a great piece to display, build or even have fun with the Minifigures put on stage or having adventures on board the Mothership and create stories with Led Zeppelin.
