I've always been a fan of The Monkees. One of my earliest memories is my mother singing "Daydream Believer" to me to get me to go to sleep as a baby; and even into recent memory, the film "Head" defined my early twenties with it's edgy inward look beyond the clean-cut pre-fabricated group into intelligence and sophistication.
Equally, I've always loved LEGO, so blending the two seemed obvious, and after the release of many other pop-culture oriented sets, this seemed like a no-brainer to submit this to LEGO Ideas.
I don't know how successful this might be, and I'm really just doing it for fun, but I'd love to see this made into a real set that you can buy off the shelves.
