ThunderCats: ThunderTank

For this project, I propose that a set be made based on the wildly popular animated television series ThunderCats. The main build of the set is the ThunderCat's most famous vehicle: the ThunderTank. Containing roughly 830 pieces, the ThunderTank has flick missiles, a stud shooter, a removable roof, and enough seating for every member of the ThunderCats' team! Aside from the vehicle and its numerous play features, this project also contains a wide cast of awesome ThunderCats characters, including Lion-O and the Sword of Omens, Tygra and his whip-like bolas, Cheetara and her bo staff, Panthro and his nunchaku, the ThunderKittens (WilyKit and WilyKat, and their flupe and flick from the 2011 series), Snarf, and Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living and his staff and blade weapons. Combining my favorite visuals and designs from both the 1985 and 2011 series, ThunderCats: ThunderTank is a truly unique rendition of these classic heroes.

I feel that ThunderCats' intricate visuals and creative characters make it perfect for the LEGO treatment, and that the stories it tells and morals it teaches are great for viewers of all ages.
