Bergamo, Italy - The Donizetti Theater

Here is the Donizetti theater, and the homonym fountain, which are located a few steps from the center of Bergamo, Italy.

Its construction begins in the 18th century and will be named after the great Bergamo musician Gaetano Donizetti in 1897, in occasion of the centenary of his birth.

In the same year the monument was built in the center of the fountain and representing Donizetti seated, while standing a muse plays sweet music with the harp.

Why did I reproduce this theater? Because I find it very beautiful, from other times and because I often passed by as a child. Furthermore Bergamo deserves to be visited.

In all, 925 bricks were used.
