Albert Einstein's Office

If a messy desk represents a messy mind, what does an empty desk say about the person using it?
  • Albert Einstein

What is it?

It is 18 April 1955, Princton and the world is losing probably the greatest head of all time. While everyone rushes to the scene, a journalist goes into Albert Einstein's office and takes one of the most iconic pictures of all time.

I recreate this in my Lego set, Albert Einstein's messy desk. Not after he has gone on his journey but before, he ponders the world and the universe, fathoms it and shows mankind the way into the future. A future that would be different without him.

Why did I build it?

I adore Albert Einstein, I can't manage to read his works, I have to admit that to myself. But who does :-) His theories and calculations have fascinated me since my earliest youth, his entire life story is characterised by diligence and curiosity, emulating him is a task that I cannot accomplish but try to do every day.

Why do you think it could be a good set?

Because Albert would have liked it, he would have built it with enthusiasm, exhibited it and shown it to everyone who came by. I'm quite sure of that.

Thank you, I hope you enjoy.
