“Drum prototypes, which are the core of YAMAHA drum evolution, are created in the Drum Laboratory where YAMAHA pursues the essence of drums. With a completely new concept, the PHX series represents the pinnacle of excellence in this prototyping process. Handcrafted by expert technicians, it is based on 40 years of history and experience.”
The design is inspired by this series of Yamaha drums.
Each drum element is fixed by 1 leg to the base, composed of 615 pieces,
with dimensions of 48 x 81 x 2.6.
In total, the drum set is composed of 10 elements: a bass drums, 2 tomtoms, a floor tom, 1 snare drum, 2 large cymbals, one small cymbals, 1 hi-hat and as the last element, the stool.

The bass drum, with a diameter of about 20, count 1185 pieces, includig the pedal and supports.

The pedal is 10x11. With the addition of specially made elastic bands, as shown in the figure, it can function like real pedal: by pushing down you can hit the bass drum, and by releasing it, the pedal would return in its position.

The 2 tomtoms are made of 960 pieces, including the support from the bass drum. They have a diameter of about 12 and a height of 10 and 11.

The floor tom are composed of 842 pieces. Its diameter is about 18 and it's 16 tall.

The 4 cymbals are 423 pieces, including the pedestals. The largests are 16 wide, while the smallest is 8.

The snare drum is about 12 wide and 7 high and is 454 pieces including the pedestal.

The hi-hat is 234 pieces, including the stand and the pedal. The double cymbal is 10 wide.

The pedal is functional: by pressing, the upper cymbal approaches the lower one and by releasing the pedal the upper cymbal returns to position thanks to a spring.

Finally, the stool is 117 pieces, and measures 23 in height and 10 wideness.

I realized this project because this was the first instrument I learned how to play. It was the one that brought me closer to music and made me discover this passion.

I believe that this could be a fantastic lego set. First of all for its size, then for the number of pieces that compose it (about 4830) and finally for the detailed design given by the number of its pieces and size.
