Cast Away

CAST AWAY: I think this project needs no introduction. It´s one of my favorite movies along with Forrest Gump, I just love it, and this winter I rewatched it several times, and at the same time, I was building this.

The why on making this LEGO

I truly enjoyed designing this project. It took me an entire a little more than one month, working day and night. It has been tough but quite enjoyable, in the process, I rediscovered my passion for this movie and for LEGO in a way that feels truly unique. Rediscovering this movie, which is one of my favorites, I actually have taken a new perspective on life like never before, I trully mean it, I am taking the present as what it is: a present. Thats what this movie represents to me, life changes suddenly unexpectedly, and the greatest times we had in our lives were even mundane in the past, isn´t it?

Regardless of the outcome, building this project while enjoying each frame of the movie, searching for the perfect shots, and recreating them has profoundly changed my life. Now, I have a deeper appreciation for each moment I live, and I truly mean it.

I am so grateful for all the time I’ve dedicated to this, because it helped me realize that the beauty of this world holds more value than any prize I could ever win. This challenge has sweetened my life, and I encourage you to try it too.

Thats why I wanted to share what this movie represents to me, to all of you, so you may try to enjoy life, a little more.
