"Finally me and it's no big deal."
Hey, everybody! ChirpyShawl039 reporting for duty! Today's submission is based on the acclaimed Disney Channel animated series Amphibia. The series was created by Matt Braly and aired from the summer of 2019 to the spring of 2022. It centered on Anne Boonchuy, a teenage girl who, along with her two best friends, gets whisked away by a magic box to Amphibia, a world where the people are frogs, toads, and salamanders and where the other animals and even the plants are veritable monsters. Anne befriends a frog boy named Sprig and is adopted by his farmer family, and as the frogs help Anne find her gal pals and a way back to Earth, she learns about the true meaning of friendship and the inevitability of change. Oh, and she and her friends (both human and amphibian) save both worlds from getting destroyed.
This set is a poseable figurine of Anne wearing the dragonfly-inspired costume she wore in "Battle of the Bands", in which she and her friends, Marcy and Sasha, perform the song No Big Deal. You can move the arms and legs into a variety of poses. It also comes with a blue acoustic guitar as seen in the show.
I'm submitting this set idea because of how much I like Amphibia. I've seen every episode, and I watched most of those the day that they each premiered. It truly is a sweet and heartfelt show at its core, which dovetails well with the "all-ages" sentiment of Lego. Furthermore, Anne's big head and spindly frame make for a figurine that's fun to build and play with.
I really appreciate the consideration and I hope you like it.
