Hello there! It's a model of Bentley Blower. A real car was released in the 1930s and participated in Le Mans races. My creation is in 1:13 scale and contains of 707 parts. This model repeats almost every shape of the original car. The first layer of the model is car base. The second layer contains of body, fuel tank and other hanging elements. It has got some features:
- Printed parts. I put the stickers on some parts. For example, car number, race number, British flag on the doors, radiator screen. Car number represents real by using Charles Wright font and order of letters and numbers.
- Engine layout. You can see it under the hood. It isn't functional, but very detailed.
I build it because I love automobile design of the 30s. Cars of that period are interesting and exciting. So, I decided to bring a piece of old elegance to the Lego community.
I believe this would make a great Lego set because it can remind us about rich automobile heritage of the past years by standing on your shelf.
