Blistering Barnacles, it's Marlinspike Hall!
Join Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, and Nestor at their English countryside manor, Marlinspike Hall. Whether it's running after Rastapopulous, running away from Bianca Castafiore, or running with the Thompson twins, it seems life never takes a break for these intrepid adventurers. Will they finally have time to relax? Or is another adventure just around the corner?
Thundering Typhoons, look at all the details!
While Tintin is clearly comfortable with global travel, it's always nice to have a comfortable home to return to. Captain Haddock has made sure there is something for everyone in his estate. Join Tintin in the dining room to pore over the day's news, then help Nestor dust the parlor, just in case Signora Castafiore happens to pop in on her singing tour. If you are in an adventurous mood, head to the study to don the legendary Haddock seafarer's attire and wave your cutlass menacingly! Or, if in need of relaxation, the bedroom has a marvelously inviting four-poster with your name on it. Green thumb? Professor Calculus would love your help tending the flower beds and trimming the ivy. Is the marble loose? Watch out, Nestor, on the stairs!
Why this project?
It's been a while since a Tintin installment has hit the silver screen, but I still believe it's time for a set. The comics series itself is wildly popular in both Europe and the United States, and fans would be thrilled be able to recreate their favorite scenes in brick form. Marlinspike is one of the most iconic locations in the series, and is a logical choice for a set. If you would like to see this become a set, please support and share! And don't let the Troglodytes or Ectoplasms get you down.
