Voyager interstellar mission
Voyager - An interstellar mission
Spacecraft Voyager 1 and 2 are twin probes designed to explore the outer planets of the solar system (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). They were launched in 1977 and after studying gas giants (between 1979 and 1989), they reached the limits of the solar system. Voyager 1 passed the helipausa in 25 August 2012, transforming into the first man-made object to reach interstellar space.
