The Once-Ler's Lerkim

All that remains on the street of the Lifted Lorax is the crumbling ruins of the Once-ler's once great Empire now reduced to a teetering tower, where "he stays in his Lerkim on top of his store."
The Once-ler's home captures Dr. Seuss's iconic architecture and imagination, and this eerie structure beckons to be built in LEGO. Growing up, the Lorax was my personal favorite of the author's. And the Once-ler's home was my all time favorite Dr. Seuss structure.
The precarious nature of the building and the unique -albeit dreary- atmosphere it creates, all jives well with the LEGO brick. Personally, I would love to see the brick walls built in nougat, lavender, and dark lavender where appropriate. The midnight blue for the roof I think is the ideal choice to create contrast and draw in the original color for the absent sky, though a departure from the accurate color scheme in Dr. Seuss's illustration.
Lastly, this timeless tower makes for a great building experience and both an excellent display and/or play set suitable for both adults and children.
