Comedian, the Cattelan's Banana

Cattelan is an artist who has always impressed me and I think that with Comedian, his famous banana hanging with American tape, he really left his mark.

This is my reinterpretation and I made it for art lovers who want to add this controversial work to their collection. In my version, I purposely added a frame and made it very opulent, surely believing that this would be appreciated by lovers of art in the form of bricks. It could easily be hung next to the LEGO versions of the Mona Lisa or the Starry Night for example.

I think it could be an interesting set, because the cost will be very low, also I implemented my project with a smaller version. This could be the start of a collection of pocket paintings that can be combined with the larger works.

I didn't want to implement it as an idea, but I think the smaller version could easily be transformed into a perfect keychain, if you want.

The largest "painting" is 16 studs wide and 20 studs high, while the small one is only 6x8.

I also added the minifigure of Maurizio Cattelan. While I was making it, I had a lot of fun imagining a particular situation. The artist is in front of a white canvas with a palette of colors and a brush in his hand. At that moment he suffers from the classic performance anxiety, not finding any inspiration. On the round table in his house there is a beautiful basket of fruit and he was about to reproduce it on canvas, when finally the stroke of genius overwhelmed him. At the thought of creating the most classic of still lifes, he shuddered. He throws down his painting tools and searches for some American tape. Once he finds it, he brandishes a banana in his left hand. A thousand creative satisfactions are painted on his face. Soon, Comedian would be born.

My project contains 241 pieces and a minifigure.
