        <div><strong><u>What is it?</u></strong></div><div>Introducing the&nbsp;<em>Reno</em>, a&nbsp;<em>Virginia &amp; Truckee</em>&nbsp;4-4-0 locomotive, road number: #11. Ordered January 13th, 1872 and built by Baldwin Locomotive Works located in Philadelphia. The original cost from 1872 was $12,500 which is&nbsp;<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: rgb(249, 249, 249);">$280,294.06</span>&nbsp;in today's (2021) money. This locomotive ran on the tracks for Virginia &amp; Truckee Railroad for 65 years and then was retired to be in films; TV shows and commercials were the main things the&nbsp;<em>Reno</em>&nbsp;starred in. In 1970, the&nbsp;<em>Reno</em>&nbsp;was sold at auction to&nbsp;<em>Old Tucson Studios&nbsp;</em>but in 1995 it was damaged by the fire at&nbsp;<em>Old Tucson Studios&nbsp;</em>and then restored and used in the movie,&nbsp;<em>Wild, Wild West. The</em> whereabouts of this locomotive are unknown to me at this point, but news has it that Virginia &amp; Truckee have acquired the&nbsp;<em>Reno</em>&nbsp;in August of this year, 2021, and fixing to restore it.</div><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Why did I build it?</u></strong></div><div>I built this for an ongoing series of 4-4-0 American Type locomotives. My most favorite locomotive is this kind, the 4-4-0 American type. I also built this one because it was such a good-looking 4-4-0 and the details I could make would really up this build!&nbsp;<strong>Also, yes this can be built with real bricks and designs but not with all the colors. But it cannot go on curved tracks...yet,&nbsp;</strong>(more to come on that).</div><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Why would this make a good set?</u></strong></div><div>I think this would make a really great set because, for many who like to play, this model can be moved and connected to other train cars*. It also looks amazing sitting on a shelf and stands out against the roughest places. It will have people turning eyes wherever it sits. The design is completely new and uses techniques that help this build stay together well with adding more details. Also, not included, would be 2-3 minifigures which would be the engineer, fireman and a support crew.
