Hallo everyone,
the Enchanted Trees you see in this entry are based on the Ghost Trees project I posted for the Fortnite Brick Or Treath challenge and gained the Fan Vote Pick along with other 14 magnificent finalists, first of all I wish to thank once more all the people who voted the Ghost Trees project.
Thath unexpected result encouraged me to make this new entry for a product Idea set.
The Enchanted Trees are a more versatile version compared to the original design: thanks to many alternative replacement parts, the trees can profoundly change their appeareance and can be very expressive!
They can have a good or funny look, but also an evil or angry one just changing the forehead parts and the eye tiles, so they can play different roles in many fantastic stories. An outift for each season is also available.
The set is composed basically by two animated trees, the relative replacement forehead parts and different eye tiles, the replacement parts to make a complete four season look change, some forest animals and a bunch of minifigures to interact with and create many sories.
I've added a special Halloween pack of parts too, that is particulary relevant to the original Ghost Trees project.
TESTED!!!
I've built the Enchanted Trees for real! And I can say they are far more beautifull to see in real than in picture, you can check out the video uploaded at the bottom of this page.
The arms mobility is very good, they are easy to handle, the replacement of forehead and eye tiles is fast, easy and very effective. To change the season outfit it takes less than ten minutes for both trees. Moreover the upper branches are far less fragile than they look!
Playing with the Enchanted Trees is a real fun! they match perfectly with all the fantasy and medioeval LEGO themes, all the fantasy and castles fans will go crazy for them, but they can also be placed in any LEGO modern city, park, forest or village, even into a Christmas village thanks to the winter outfit.
Building the Enchanted Trees, I had to fix an issue about the connections between the arms and the trunk, so they are a little different from the original Ghost Trees, but now they work beautyfully! The building process is very fun and not so difficult, I've made the instructions too. I had to paint the connectors for the arms because they are not available in reddish brown. You can check out the dedicated video series on my cnannel, the link is on my profile. I hope you enjoy!!!
SOME NUMBERS:
All the alternative look combinations for each tree should be calculeted like this: we have 6 seasonal options (4 seasons plus Halloween and summer fruits options), 4 forhead expressions (if the forehead parts are replaced also in an asymmetrical manner, the total is 4 different expressions) and 11 different pairs of eye tiles to change, thath makes 264 different combinations.
Of corse it is always possible to mix and rotate the eye tiles to increase this yet remarkable number.
The parts to make a base set including two Enchanted Trees in summer outfit, the forehead and eyes optional parts, 8 forest animals, 7 minifigures (minimum 4, plus 3 optional) and 8 apples with their basket are 1.123 (picture 13).
The parts for the autumn season alternative outfit for both the trees are 186, plus 49 parts from the Halloween special pack wich includes 3 skeletons, so for a set including all the summer and autumn optional outfits the total of parts is 1.358 (picture 14).
The parts for the winter and spring season outfits for both the trees are 252, 34 of wich are included in the previous outfits, so the total amount of parts for a complete full optional set including all the season outfits is 1.576 (picture 15).
I hope you like the Enchanted Trees, they can't wait to know whath you think about them in the comments and they greet you!!!
