Here is a mini version of the iconic PRUSA i3 MK3 3D printer. 3D printing is when 3D solid objects are made from a model on a computer. 3D printing is done by building up the object layer by layer. Usually, 3D printers use plastic, because it is easier to use and cheaper. Some 3D printers can 3D print with other materials, like metals and ceramics. This model represents the Prusa MK3 printer which is an FDM machine which uses spools of plastic filament. You can see it comes with green, red yellow and blue filament spools. My MOC contains 73 parts and is approximately 5cm/5cm/ 6.5cm.

I built it as its a cool little printer to go next to (or on top of) your full size one! Its also a great little desk ornament for any creator/designer/engineer to have.

It would be a great set to have in Lego as it is not only a cool miniature model of an iconic 3DD printer but it also could get kids interested in 3D printing and other STEM subjects.
