        <div>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ernMhritfwU</div><div><br></div><div>Chenonceau is a French castle, it is one of the Loire castles like Chambord, Chinon, Cheverny etc etc</div><div>They are all located in the Loire Valley in the North West of France.</div><div><br></div><div>The Château de Chenonceau is nicknamed the Château des Dames after the succession of women who built, occupied and embellished it over the centuries.</div><div><br></div><div>          <img src="https://ideascdn.lego.com/media/generate/lego_ci/58ba98be-421b-4544-bdfc-d3364fed7e88/resize:1200:675/webp">            <img src="https://ideascdn.lego.com/media/generate/lego_ci/1a7d071b-cd80-44c3-a56a-9aea886562a0/resize:1200:675/webp"></div><div><br></div><div>These women are, among others, Catherine de Médicis, Diane de Poitiers, Gabrielle d'Estrées...</div><div>It was built in the 15th century and was basically a simple castle on the banks of a river, the Cher. These women then added the bridge, which became the large gallery we know today.</div><div>In its current version, it measures 60m long and 6m wide.</div><div><br></div><div>You might enjoy building my reproduction with 2600 bricks for a set measuring 77 cm long, 10 cm wide and 34 cm high.</div><div>Several construction techniques are used, inverted bricks and plates, inclination of wedge plates associated with slopes for the roof, mudguards for the relief of the facade or small bacons made on a curved slope.</div><div>The hardest part was recreating the offset columns in the rooms of the castle, but they are faithful to the real ones.</div><div>You will also find the rooms of Diane de Poitiers and Gabrielle d'Estrées as well as the kitchens at the back of the castle.</div><div>Finally, the small boat, the "Gabare", will be placed under the arch of your choice for walks like in real life.</div><div><br></div><div>The entire assembly is feasible and legal, I am sure that you will take as much pleasure in making it as I had in inventing it.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you for supporting my first project, the Pont du Gard in link <a href="https://ideas.lego.com/projects/27a87f57-738a-4693-853f-432f20b9fb4e" target="_blank">here</a></div>
