Mononoke: Pool of the Forest Spirit

Hello! Welcome to my "Pool of the Forest Spirit" set idea based of on the animated film Princess Mononoke (1997) by Studio Ghibli and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

The story is centered around Ashitaka which finds himself within a conflict between the gods of a forest and the population of Iron Town which cut down the forest to obtain iron for the towns iron works.

Princess Mononoke was the highest grossing film in Japan until Titanic was released later that year and it sold well in the west on DVD and Video thus greatly increasing Ghibli's popularity and influence outside Japan.

The set contains:

• Yakul (Prince Ashitaka's loyal red elk steed)
• Lady Eboshi

• Moro (God of the Wolves/Leader of the Wolf Tribe)
• Lord Okkoto
• Forest Spirit (Dear God form)
• Forest Spirit (Night Walker Form)
• 1 Kodama
• Forest Spirit Pool with Island Enviroment

Current peice count: 1235 (although parts such as the pool island could be heavily re-vampted and redesigned as there are many ways it could be put together.
