This is a tribute to the Can-Am sports racing cars of the 1970s. This was perhaps the last racing series where there were very few regulations, and therefore the manufacturers and race teams produced highly innovative cars. But most of all, this era was about big engines and raw power! This build is a tribute that incorporates design elements from several different cars of the era, and is not intended to represent any specific car. It was built from the combined pieces of the existing LEGO Caterham roadster and Martin DB5 sets plus a few extra pieces. The engine cover can be removed and the flat-12 cylinder engine removed for inspection and play!
