Thank you for checking my idea!
One of my most cherished memory from when I was young is going to the chalet and especially doing tube rides behind a motor boat. This is what I built here. It's all based on my memories of my aunt's tiny chalet and on my mom's motor boat and tube.
About the set
The chalet is the main piece of this set. Outside of it you can find a birch and a spruce, a picnic table, a fire-pit and a bbq. If you go down the stairs in the rocks you can reach the motor boat pulling the tube where one minifigure can sit. There is many critters hiding in different places all around the outdoors.
There is 4 minifigures, depicting a family. The children have medium legs so they can sit!
It's about 2100 pieces.
Fully detailed interiors!
The interior of the chalet is full of details even if it's small. I really tried to put as many as possible! There is a complete bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The rest of the space is an open-space with the kitchen (fridge, stove, cupboard, microwave, coffee machine, toaster), the living room (sofa, stone fireplace, TV), the kids bunk beds and a bookcase. There is also a mezzanine accessible with a ladder where is the master bed.
Lots of playability
Both the roof and the mezzanine can the removed to access the interiors and play with all the utensils and accessories available. Even the interior bathroom wall can be removed for easier access to the bathroom!
- The fridge can open and is full of food.
- The oven and cupboard can open.
- The bbq can open.
There is so many place to put the minifigures to picture awesome scenes. Maybe they are sitting around the fire outside roasting marshmallows and sausages. Or in the kitchen preparing a meal while talking to somebody sitting at the counter. Or maybe someone is driving the boat while a kid is enjoying a tubing ride!
