Junkyard With Working Magnet Crane

Welcome to the junkyard - a maze of hidden treasures and rusted out vehicles waiting to be restored! It's full of realistic details including:

Pick up and transport vehicles around the scrapyard with a functional electromagnet-style crane that uses real magnets to grab the cars. One magnet is attached to the end of the crane, and another magnet is embedded within the roof of the car, creating the illusion that the car is made out of metal!

Equipped with a working vice clamp that uses a worm-gear mechanism to open and close, a workbench full of spare parts and components, and a classic red tool chest complete with functional drawers that can be opened up to reveal an array of mechanic’s tools!

A classic 50’s style tow truck featuring an adjustable tow hook mechanism and doubled up rear wheels for carrying heavy duty loads.

Open up the caravans to access a pair of detailed interiors, including a worker’s cabin furnished with a cosy bed, desk lamp and TV in the silver trailer, as well as a small camping kitchenette in the blue caravan.

Guarded by the friendly bulldog, you’ll find a collection of unique vehicles inspired by a variety of automotive eras. Each vehicle is decorated with a detailed weathered appearance, featuring realistic touches like overgrown plants, piles of dried leaves, salvaged parts and corroded bodywork.

All of this is constructed on an unusual shaped base that replicates the chaotic, maze-like layout of a real life scrapyard, against the backdrop of a natural Autumnal themed landscape.

I think this would make a great LEGO set that’s fun for all ages as there are so many unusual building techniques and exciting details to explore. In addition, this model demonstrates the different types of realistic textures that can be made out of LEGO bricks, which when combined with the functional play features, creates a unique life-like build that is unlike anything else currently available.
