Taipei 101 was the tallest building in the world at its opening in 2004. It has 101 floors and a height of 508 meters. The skyscraper is located in the city Taipei in Taiwan. The architectural style is postmodernist with traditional Asian aesthetics. The building houses offices, restaurants and a shopping mall.
This LEGO model of Taipei 101 has many details from the real building. It was a challenge to get all the tilted and diagonal surfaces to fit together nicely. Technic constructions were used inside the build for the tilted parts.
