This is my motorized Lego Carousel with an aquatic theme. The animals that were selected came from a brief poll of people I know. I wanted to challenge myself with a design that ventures outside my comfort zone. Making a carousel with world accurate functions was a lot of fun and marvelously tricky. Even better, you can put any minifigures you like on it! The Animals move up and down using a custom gearbox that moves in sync with the rest of the model. As an extra feature, you can reverse the direction it turns to match the way Carousels move where you live. I want more than anything to bring the joy LEGO has brought me to as many people as I can.
Recent updates provide better lighting and closer renders of some smaller details. I have also added a remote control and a hand crank option.
