Thomas Edison was one of the greatest inventors in history. He created and perfected many great inventions including, the electric light bulb, the phonograph, and the motion picture camera. Because of these inventions, he was dubbed “The Wizard of Menlo Park”. Thomas Edison lived in Menlo Park (now named Edison in his honor). Here he had his laboratory and home in Middlesex, New Jersey from 1876 to 1887. He held 1,093 US patents in his name as well as many patents in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

The Wizard of Menlo Park is based off of Thomas Edison’s Laboratory. This project has 514 LEGO pieces and 1 minifigure. The project also includes some of his most famous inventions, including the electric light bulb, the phonograph, and the motion picture camera. In this model, you can also see a pipe organ, two large tables, three small desks, four chairs, a bench, two shelves, and an Old Times newspaper. This project would be very popular with LEGO fans of all ages. It would bring lots of cool pieces in new colors, and encourage science all around the world. It’s also great for putting on display, and using the  parts for your amazing creations!
