This is a model of Architect Philip Johnson's Glass House in Canaan, Connecticut. A seemingly simple structure of steel glass and brick, it is intended to fit into the architecture series and be roughly the same scale as the LEGO Farnsworth House or Villa Savoye.
There really is so much more territory to explore in the architecture series, and this MOC is an attempt to do so with an iconic structure. I think the size really hits a happy medium between overall part count and level of detail. The interior is fully furnished according to the original intent of the architect, with the tables and Barcelona chairs laid out according to plan.
