Main door can be placed in any position along the entrance. The TARDIS console contains time rotor that moves up and down, grey lever to activate the TARDIS, red switch to operate the main doors, gauge, and black and green button.
In this image you can see the monitor (glowing red) and the door that leads into the corridors of the TARDIS which is almost hidden.
