Movement In Squares

I’ve loved this iconic pop art painting by the artist Bridget Riley for decades. I studied her famous eye shifting works of art as a mature student. It is made with 1x4 plates in two colours, most of the work is behind it, with brackets to keep the plates together. The plates have been staggered and reversed at different sections to enable finished tiled edges at both sides.

Plates have been used at the back to cover all the brackets and to give it added strength. A piece could be added to be placed onto a wall for display.
