The Village Post Office represents a slice of rural village life and is set during the early 1930's. I've designed the Post Office in a British style and the model also features a vintage style mail van. The building is not designed in a modular format but has an open back to provide easy access to the detailed interior. In total the model contains 2262 pieces.

I've packed the model with lots of interesting details including an iconic red phone box and pillar box. Surrounding the building is a cobbled pavement complete with a bench, tree and vintage double street lamp. The facade features a bay window on the ground floor, drain pipes and lots of flowers, hanging baskets and a large Wisteria plant climbing along the wall and on to the roof. At the side of the building a series of steps give the minifigures access to an apartment on the first floor.

Interior Details

The model has an open back to give access to all the details inside. On the ground floor is the main Post Office itself. I've designed this once again in a vintage style complete with wooden floor boards, a service desk and a table for wrapping parcels. Behind the desk is a cash register, old fashioned weighing scales, label dispenser and shelves for sorting out all the mail.

On the first floor is an apartment where the post office owners live. I've included a cosy fireplace, a kitchen (complete with an old fashioned range cooker), a bed, table and an antique gramophone.

Vintage Mail Van

The vintage red mail van features opening doors in the cab and back doors that can be opened and loaded up with mail. The roof can also be removed to give easy access. The postman's uniform and the van feature the same "Brick Post" emblem which I created especially for this model.

Minifigures And Other Details

I've included 4 minifigures with the model - a postman, a customer and the husband and wife duo who run the post office and live in the apartment above. Also included are 2 birds, a rat, a cat and a bicycle.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you like the model enough to give it your support.
Many Thanks!
