A couple of years ago I submitted to Ideas my Minerals and, to my astonishment, made it to 10k. It has been an amazing journey which brought me to know and befriend so many wonderful people from all over the world. Once again, dear friends, I cannot thank you enough for the support, passion and love you showed me along the way.
Finally the project did not make it through, I must admit many pieces required recolouring, some specimens were built with unhortodox techniques and the competition was tough 🙂!
But good things comes to those who wait... and LEGO(r) indeed produced the elements I needed to make it real! So, dear all, I am thrilled to announce that the Minerals Display is now 100% buildable with available bricks. All specimens have been redesigned accordingly and with legal joints (in fact some minerals - alas - had to go).
So here we go again and hopefully this time the Minerals will have more luck!
The old & new specimens are now displayed in a lovely case, built with available dark and reddish brown elements, enriched with golden rivets. The case can be hung directly to a wall or simply put on a shelf.
The collection is composed of 6 pieces: Rhodochrosite, Amethyst Geode, Black Tourmaline with Aquamarine, Orange Quartz, Emerald, Pyrite.
I hope you enjoy this new version! If you do, please support. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome.
Thank you, keep building!
