Ancient Hamlet

About the build:
Situated on the seaside, the ancient hamlet stands as a perfect location to fish, shop and to reside in. On the left part, we'll find a wooden crane handling crates, some homes for the locals and a bridge standing over a narrow canal.

In the middle and right hand-side of the build, we will find the town hall, which is hosting a special market sale for the visitors. In addition, two market stands selling fresh fruits and fishes are found in front of it, as well as many spots to relax and enjoy the sight. For easy access, ladders are situated on the back of the buildings.

Lastly, the hamlet also includes two wooden docks for fishing and lots of palm trees, to keep things cool during a blazing hot weather.

Every part of the build is easily accessible through removable roofs and homes. The build can also be split in three parts for a smoother transport experience.

About the project:
I had the inspiration of creating the ancient hamlet after coming across images of oriental seaside hamlets and villages from the past. Fascinated by the unique architecture, I decided to create a modern-looking yet still somewhat faithful to history hamlet, making it a perfect addition to any city, coastline or seaside builds.

Secondly, the ancient hamlet would make an outstanding LEGO set, and a great display piece for any home, letting the architecture, especially many of the details, shine while looking impressive all around.
I had so much fun designing this project and I'm sure the ancient hamlet would make a very special LEGO set. Hope you like it!
