Freakazoid! In Tibet
Steven Spielberg's Freakazoid! is a 1995 superhero cartoon filled with slapstick, parody, and non-sequitur comedy. Our titular hero is the Freakazoid. Once a normal teenage boy, he went insane and became super powerful when a computer defect zapped him into cyberspace. This set depicts a moment from Freakazoid's origins, as depicted in the episode The Chip, in which the newly created Freakazoid zips all the way from Washington, D.C. to a Buddhist temple in Tibet just to accost a monk for raking too loudly.
While perhaps not as popular as some of its contemporaries, only managing to snag two seasons, fans of Freakazoid! look back fondly on the zany sense of humor, and it's grown a cult following over time. Give the show a try, and I'm sure you too will agree that this toyetic, super teen extraordinaire deserves to be immortalized in studded plastic glory.
