The Balloons World
I woke up and felt a strange rubbery floor under me.
Opened my eyes, realized that I was lying on a balloons’ bed.
I got up. I was surrounded by millions of coloured balloons!
A small hand grabbed mine. A little girl: "Hi, how are you?" whispered to me.
"Confused!” I replied
“It means you don't know the balloons world!”
“Uhm, not!”
“Have you ever wondered where all balloons that children lose in the sky and that you can watch until they disappear, end up?”
She pulled my hand and started running: “Follow me!”
We ran on the top of a hill, made of coloured balloons.
“What am I doing here?” I asked
“I don't know, I'm just a ten-year-old girl! Come on! Let's jump down!”
“Hey, stop, it's too high!”
“Don't worry, Daddy! It's just a dream!”
“Daddy?”
“Yes! I'm Azzurra!” A leap and dived down.
I jumped too, and as I fell, I heard another “Wake up!”
I was in my bed, opened my eyes, saw a beautiful smile: my wife.
"Daddy! We’re having a baby-girl! Would you like it if we called her “Azzurra”?"
