What's more relaxing than a good bath ?

And what's more Japanase than the onsen culture ?

When I read the theme of the challenge, mixing Japan and tranquility the first image that popped through my mind was the onsen. I was lucky enough to experience a hot springs bath in Japan, lost in the middle of the mountains and it was so peaceful and relaxing, enjoying the tranquility of a hot bath in the middle of the preserved nature around.

Here I wanted to take it a step further and celebrate Japan as a whole, with an onsen overlooking the world famous Mount Fuji like one can encounter in Yamanashi Prefecture, and by using colour codes that would reflect the traditional art of printmaking, drawing my inspiration in the vivid colors of Kuniyoshi's masterpieces.
