On the Move Between Past and Present

One minifig, in his daily task of carrying balls from one building to another, is caught up between age old traditions and modern technology. Starting from water level we find traditional symbols as the pagoda and the bonsai. Also featured is the tradition of tea drinking, savored under a picturesque and tranquil nature background, where many plants find their plants along bamboo trees.

Moving along the staircases we find age old traditions, kimono and barber shop, intertwined with modern day professions, dentist. The ads are colored and eye catching. having japanese cultural references like the Tuna fish, Sushi and Shinkansen.

The build features:

-manual activated function, which lifts and lowers the boat in the police station level, found under the detention block;

-two power function motors, the first which helps the minifig to move between the buildings and the second which powers the ball lift;

-the marble run, which carries the ball between the buildings;

a tensegrity sculpture.
