Dilophoraptor

Wu was content with his regular Dilophosaurus, and the animal was used in the park. Yet, deep down he knew more was possible. As an experiment, he added a pinch of Velociraptor DNA to the mix. This concoction of DNA resulted in a hybrid much like the Dilophosaurus, but with the claws and intelligence of a Raptor. Wu reported the Dilophoraptor was much more aggresive than its normal counterpart. It was even smart enough to practice its spitting aim, for extreme precision.

This model of the Dilophoraptor can be posed in many ways. Notable features:

  • Neck moves up/down
  • Head can turn left/right
  • The legs swivel
  • Feet can be tilted
  • Tail can be rotated
  • Arms can be adjusted freely
  • Neck frill (can be removed)
  • Venom shooter hidden inside the mouth

Used for venom-spitting-target-practice is a brick built sign pointing the (right or wrong) way to the East Dock. This sign was part of an iconic scene from the original film that made the Dilophosaurus famous, which gave me inspiration for this hybrid build.
