The Nightmare Express
You’ve heard of the Polar Express, well the Nightmare Express is Halloween Town’s version of this classic Christmas locomotive. While scary in appearance, this train and the Halloween Town residents riding it, are doing their best to help spread holiday joy. The model features:
- Main Engine: A large pumpkin smokestack, and spooky, articulating arms for delivering presents
- Freight Car: Jack Skellington’s coffin-shaped sleigh and a holding area for his skeletal reindeer
- Cargo Car: A stack of holiday gifts to be delivered (flexible elements are used to imply some are falling off the back). The car itself is so excited it’s drooling on the tracks a bit.
- Passenger Car: A ghost, witch, and skeleton minifigures are running a “present making” machine to ensure all the gifts are ready before Christmas. Although too big to fit in the car itself, the normally scary serpent monster on the roof has adopted a candy-cane themed color pattern for the occasion.
