Vintage Bureau Lamp

This is the lamp I had attached to my desk when I was young. I guess many had such a lamp in those days. In that sense it is a real classic.

It has the ability to turn and extend in almost any direction. That is, if it was attached properly! Otherwise it would tumble over with a bang (something you may also recall :-) ).

I made the Lego version ‘fully functional’: it rotates on its fixing point, it extends and folds together. And the head swivels in all directions via a ball-joint.

It took some effort to make it structurally sound and playable. As prove I added some pictures of the real build (…regretfully I did not have ALL the bricks yet so I apologise for the few bricks that are the wrong color).

The lamp can be attached to the edge of a table with the provided fixture, or put in the weighted stand to sit anywhere. The model also comes with a spare lightbulb.

Differently coloured version could be created to fit with everyones taste.
