Expecto Patronum - The Mighty Badger

Trying to make Hufflepuff proud. As I am BadgerDesigns (Lego ID) my patronus could only be a badger. I have always liked the animal, reading Wind in The Willows when young and really liking the badger character in the books.

My design was made in Studio but uses only available colours for each part so could be built. The wand has a phoenix feather core (technic axle) and made from Applewood (round 2x2 bricks with axel hole). This results in a pliant but strong wand that holds its shape.

The images have captured the spell in mid-flow. The wand, energy and patronus are all linked. The casting spell is made up from hero factory arms which can be posed in many ways to make an interesting shape to the magic energy leaving the wand. The last picture has the energy leaving the wand in a twisting path.

The Badger Patronus itself is made up from mostly translucent parts as well to give it a glow with some Dark Blue elements used for the badgers striped facial features.
