Navigating Under the Stars

In this build I wanted to show the heavens above in the form of being used for navigation on the sea. The constellation in the build is Ursa Minor or the Little Dipper. The uppermost star in this constellation (at the end of the handle of the dipper) is know as Polaris or the North Star which is/was used commonly for navigation due to both its bright appearance and its stable position in the sky.

I must admit that the handle of the dipper is angled a bit too far up but that is the unfortunate result of having the technic piece used to hand it up on the back. I did the best I could, however, and spent much longer than I care to admit doing so!

This build is made up of 226 pieces and uses all existing parts which means that one could build it in real life should he choose to do so.

I hope you find my Navigating Under the Stars build as visually appealing as I do! Thank you!
